Obituary for Dennis Michael Gerolimatos

Dennis Michael Gerolimatos, 72, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, in Windham, NY.

He was the loving husband of Rita (Rowe) Gerolimatos. They enjoyed 35 wonderful years of marriage together.

Born in NY, he was the son of the late George Gerolimatos and the late Frances (Gaber) Gerolimatos.

Dennis "The Menace" Gerolimatos loved his family first and foremost. The most amazing Husband and Father anybody could ask for. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his family. He loved his friends and community, especially in the concession stand at Pleasant Valley and of course Shop Rite. He loved the Catskills and Jimmy O'Connor's Windham Mountain Inn where he would buy everyone's food and drinks.

He worked hard as a Local 3 electrician for forty years. When he passed, he was working for KCR Electric and loved it. He would give anyone the shirt off his back but not without telling them he was actually born on Omicron Delta 4. He will be missed forever. He was a one of a kind human being. There has never been anyone like him and there never will be again. The "Mayor of Brodheadsville."

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, George Gerolimatos, Thomas Gerolimatos and his fiancé, Lauren, Alexander Gerolimatos and his significant other, Yssence; a brother, Anthony Gerolimatos; a grandson, Noah; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Andrea Gerolimatos.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Memorial services will follow at 7:30 PM.
