Obituary for Donald H. Killeen
Donald H. Killeen, 87, of Saylorsburg, passed away Wednesday, January 13 in his home surrounded by his family.
He was the loving husband of Theresa (Tupkielewicz) Killeen. They celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary in October.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Francis Killeen and the late Catherine (Yohoe) Killeen.
Donald was a window cleaner for over fifty years, working in New York City. He was the epitome of a hard worker, and earned everything he ever worked for to provide for his family. He was a true family man, and even got most of the family into the same business that he dedicated his life to for so many years. Most of all, he was a loving and caring, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Donald Killeen; three daughters, Cathy Killeen, Debbie Doran and her husband John, Lori Kaps and her husband Gordon; thirteen grandchildren, Jason, Heather, Billy, Stella, Terry, Danielle, Frank, Steven, Sheri, Nicole, Tim, Matt, Ashley; and thirty three great grandchildren, Bradon, Sophia, Jayson, Alex, Layna, Lexi, Cristiano, JD, Zack, Abby, Joseph, Matthew, Jackson, Kinley, Wesley, Gavin, Oliver, Mikayla, Bella, Olivia, Gabby, Dominic, Angelina, Bella, Mason, Mackenzie, Coraline, Ellie, Leiana, Kaleb, and expecting a baby boy and a baby girl on the way. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Killeen, and a daughter-in-law, Gloria Killeen.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 18 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19 at 11:00 AM from the funeral home with Rev. Michael Quinnan officiating. Entombment will follow in Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
