Obituary for Donald M. Killeen Jr.

Donald M. Killeen Jr., 66, of East Stroudsburg, passed away Wednesday, October 27 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono.

He was the loving husband of the late Gloria J. (Miller) Killeen. They celebrated 22 wonderful years of marriage together before her passing in 2020.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of Theresa C. (Tupkielewicz) Killeen and the late Donald H. Killeen Sr.

Donald was a window cleaner in New York City for most of his life before retiring in 2020. He was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Craigs Meadow. He also served on the Military Family Readiness Group Committee, and was a proud NRA member. Most of all, he was a proud, loving, and caring father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.

In addition to his mother, Theresa, he is survived by a son, Francis P. Killeen and his wife Adaline of Schnecksville; two daughters, Theresa R. Bishop and her husband Edward of Moneta, VA, Danielle M. Inman of East Stroudsburg; eight grandchildren, J.D. Bishop, Zak L. Bishop, Abagail M. Killeen, Joseph F. Widmer, Matthew J. Simon, Jackson D. Killeen, Kinley R. Killeen, Wesley F. Killeen; and three sisters. Along with his wife and father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Killeen.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 4 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 PM with Rev. James R. Thomas officiating. Cremains along with his wife Gloria's cremains will be interred on Saturday, November 6 at 10:30 AM in Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pocono Foundation Covid-19 Relief Fund, 206 E. Brown St., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
