Obituary for Dorothy J "DJ" More (Castor)
Dorothy J. "DJ" More, 85, of Effort, passed away Wednesday, December 8 at home.
She was the loving wife of Richard A. More. They would have observed their 40th wedding anniversary in April of 2022.
Born in Wichita, KS, she was the daughter of the late Harry Castor and the late Ruby (Colgan) Castor.
DJ was a branch operations manager for the Wall Street brokerage house, Paine, Webber, Jackson & Curtis for over twenty years. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Brian and Steven Bachelder, both of Wichita, KS, Kenneth Bachelder of NJ; two sisters, Evelyn Pollack of Oklahoma City, OK; Barbara Jarman and her husband Darrell of Valley Center, KS; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be scheduled on a later date at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
