Obituary

Earl Arnold Kresge, 76, of Long Pond, passed away Saturday, January 12 in his home surrounded by his family.

He was the loving husband of Grace M. (Havens) Kresge. They celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary in May.

Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Arnold Kresge and the late Grace (Snyder) Kresge.

Earl was a mechanic for K & L Motors in Stroudsburg for over twenty seven years. Afterwards he continued working for Nolan Oil Co. and retired in 2004.

Earl was a hardworking man and loved using his hands as he enjoyed tinkering around the house and building things as a hobby. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Raymond Kresge of Scranton, Charles Kresge of Swiftwater; three sisters, Verna Binkley of Pocono Lake, Betty Perry and her husband Bob of Snydersville, Barbara Boyer and her husband Ron of SC; two stepsons, Paul Dippre Jr. and David Dippre, both of Long Pond. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Kresge, and a stepson, Elmer Dippre.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM with Rev. David Felker officiating. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kresge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 25 Brodheadsville, PA 18322.
