Ellen A. Flick
Ellen A. Flick, 91, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Monday October 8, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest surrounded by her family. She was the devoted wife of the late William E. Flick who passed away in 2011. Born in Saylorsburg, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Helen Arnold. Ellen was a graduate of Stroudsburg High School and was first employed by Worthington Mower but spent most of her life working at Shawnee Inn until her retirement. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville. Ellen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends, doing Word Search puzzles and watching the Phillies. Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Joann M. Sell and husband Rick of Macungie, Barbara A. Steen and husband Jeff of Sciota; her grandchildren Alynn Zernhelt, Justin Steen, Ashley Steen and Becky Johnson-Lally; and great grandchildren Nicholas, Lexi, Colton, Zachary, Gavin, Gabriel, Kylie and Emma. She is also survived by sisters Anita Fisher, Dorothy Krauss, and Carol Koehler. She was predeceased in death by her brothers Charles Arnold, Claude Arnold and sister Thelma Tomino.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00-11:00 am on Saturday, October 13 at the William H. Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 US 209 , Brodheadsville, PA followed by a service at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Gilbert Cemetery.
