Elwood L. Fenner Sr., "Woody", 87, of Bangor passed away in St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus on Thursday, May 11, 2023 surrounded by his loving children. He was the son of the late Loris and Emma Fenner of Wind Gap. He is survived by his children; Elwood L. Fenner Jr., Tina Kichline and Tracey Sankar and her husband Gary; seven beloved grandchildren and one great grandchild along with four sisters; Viola Fenner, Shirley Nichols, Ruth Frable and Patricia Heller. He was predeceased by his brother, Franklin Fenner, sister Vera Frey and Emmaline who died in infancy. Woody was employed by S & I Handling Systems in Forks Township up until his retirement due to the plant closing. He then continued part time employment with the Borough of Wind Gap. enjoying his work outdoors. He enjoyed playing pool, antique shopping, and going to diners and casinos. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Eaton Church with interment to follow in Mt. Eaton Cemetery. The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
