Gary T. Prystash, 68, of Saylorsburg, passed away Saturday, July 30 in Hazleton.
He was the loving husband of the late Christina M. (Cuoco) Prystash. They celebrated 33 wonderful years of marriage together before her passing in June of this year.
Born in Somerville, NJ, he was the son of the late Paul Prystash and the late Maude (Jennings) Prystash.
Gary was an automotive mechanic and machine operator for most of his life. He was a hard-working man who loved and enjoyed his profession. He had a heart of gold, and always looked after his family. Most of all, he was a loving and caring father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Cuoco, Jennifer Clowes and her husband Jesse; two brothers, Paul and Robert Prystash; two sisters, Pay Schenck and her husband Tom, Nancy Meyers and her husband Ed; and two grandchildren, Briella and Jackson. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Prystash, and a son, Nicholas Cuoco.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 5 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.
