Obituary for Gerald B. "Jerry" Gay Sr.

Gerald B. Gay (Jerry Gay) of East Stroudsburg, born in Brooklyn, New York, passed away unexpectedly early in the morning on March 15th, 2022. Jerry was the beloved husband to Dana Adams.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Dana is his father, Gerald Gay and his wife, Kimberly Gay of Stroudsburg PA; son, Gerald B. Gay Jr. of Brooklyn, New York; daughter, Mackenzie Fink and her husband, William Fink of Peckville, Pa; daughter, Kassidy Gay of The Sea; son, Christopher Casey of Brooklyn, New York; as well as two granddaughters, Averie L. Fink and Lilian G. Fink of Peckville, PA. He was predeceased by his brother, Keith who passed away in 1989 and his mother, Louise who passed away in 2009.

Jerry was widely known for his construction business and restaurant in the Poconos. Jerry may have been known to many because of his business expenditures over the years but was even better known by those closest to him for being truly unique. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, adventure loving lifestyle, and for loving those around him who meant most to him. Jerry loved his family and friends more than anything else, he was always the first one to show up for anyone who ever needed him. He is going to be deeply missed and remembered forever.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 21 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 22 at 10:00 AM at St, Luke's Catholic Church, Stroudsburg, with Rev. Michael Quinnan as celebrant. Burial will be in Laurelwood Cemetery.
