Obituary for Grace M. Price (Bonser)
Grace M. Price, 93, of McMichaels, passed away Friday, October 8 in The Gardens at Stroud, East Stroudsburg.
She was the loving wife of the late Russell H. Price. They celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage together before his passing in 2008,
Born in McMichaels, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Bonser and the late Hazel (Martin) Bonser.
Grace was a florist for most of her life, working at both Howell and Garden Gate flower shops in Stroudsburg. She was a lifelong resident of McMichaels and was an active member of McMichaels United Methodist Church. She loved growing up at her family farm in McMichaels. She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed taking care of her vegetable garden. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Price and his wife Helen of McMichaels, Robert Price and his wife Catherine of Polk Township; two sisters, Myrtle Fish of McMichaels, Kathleen Brong and her husband Donald of Saylorsburg; seven grandchildren, Shannon, Matt, Rebecca, Dan, Elizabeth, Melissa, Hannah; fourteen great grandchildren; and a niece, Beverly Post. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Price, a daughter, Noreen Hazen, a grandson, Shawn Price, a sister, Velma Post, and two brothers, Graydon and John Bonser.
Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family in McMichaels Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McMichaels United Methodist Church, 104 White Church Road, Saylorsburg, PA 18353.
