Obituary for Helen H. Gower (Taschler)
Helen H. Gower, 88, of Kunkletown, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 14, 2023.
She was the loving wife of the late Elvin E. Gower. They celebrated 62 wonderful years of marriage together.
Helen was a member of St. Matthew's UCC in Kunkletown for many years. She was a sweet and caring homemaker and was an executive manager for her husband's Trucking Company that he owned and operated for sixty years. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Rick Gower of Kunkletown, Vince Gower and his wife Hollie of Kunkletown; two grandchildren, Michelle Berhel and her husband Carl, Michael Gower and his wife Tracie; and three great grandchildren, Josh, Trevor, and Trent.
A viewing was held on Tuesday, December 19, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services followed at 12:00 PM with Rev. Michael Coulson officiating. Burial followed at St. Matthew's Cemetery, Kunkletown.
