Obituary for James Joseph Boyle Jr.

James Joseph Boyle Jr., 24, of Albrightsville, passed away on Saturday, November 3.
Born in Wilkes Barre, he was the son of James Joseph Boyle Sr. and the late Dawn Marie (Varano) Boyle.
James went to elementary school at St. Joseph's in Jim Thorpe, later graduating in 2102 from Jim Thorpe High School. While at Jim Thorpe, James enjoyed playing a myriad of sports including golf, tennis, and football and he was also a wrestler. He later attended Northampton Community College and Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL.
For the past four months, James was a lineman for Celerity in Quakertown. Previous jobs included landscaping for Pine Ridge Center in Albrightsville, Bush Gardens in Florida, being a lifeguard in Towamensing Trails, tending bar at several locations in Albrightsville including "The Hick", and working at his father's business, Lake Mountain Contracting. He also did volunteer work at the Penn Kidder Library.
James was a true outdoors-man. He was an avid fisherman and loved snowboarding, hunting, hiking, disk golf and riding his motorcycle. This love for nature extended into the animal kingdom as he owned many pets through the years. He always enjoyed traveling and often found himself flying around or on a road trip to somewhere.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 9 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 10 from St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Lake Harmony with Monsignor John Chizmar as celebrant. Cremation will follow in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
