Obituary for Jane R. Keller

Jane R. Keller, 74, of Lehighton, passed away Saturday, May 8 in St. Luke's Hospital-Lehighton Campus.

She was the loving daughter of the late Allen F. Keller Sr. and the late Rachel (Strohl) Keller.

She was a member of the Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Trachsville.

Jane was a sewing machine operator at a garment mill for over twenty five years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Polk Township Fire Co. and Indian Mountain Rod & Gun Club. She was also an avid Bingo player. Most of all, she was a loving and caring daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.

She is survived by a brother, Allen F. Keller Jr. of Gilbert; two sisters, Fay Hunsicker of Lehighton, Gail. E. Christman and her husband Terry of Lehighton; and many nieces and nephews who she was very fond of. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Skerce.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 14 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Dr. John Harding officiating. Burial will follow in Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery in Trachsville.
