Obituary for Joanne Luhavalja
We regretfully announce the passing of our loving mother, Joanne Luhavalja. She passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She fought a difficult battle with COPD and congestive heart failure. She is finally at rest and in peace. She will be forever loved and remembered for her kind heart and her love for flowers, bird watching, animals, and most importantly, her beloved dog Sasha.
At Joanne's request, no services are scheduled at this time. Scattering of her ashes as per her request, will take place in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Joanne may be made to the American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
