Obituary for Joseph M. Clark

Joseph M. Clark, 72, of Long Pond, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19 in his home.

He was the loving husband of Betty Lou (Robertson) Clark. They have known each other for 65 years and were married for 31 years.

Born in Dover, NJ, he was the son of the late Metro Voloshin and the late Bernice Clark.

He was a member of the Middlecreek Christian Church in Kresgeville. He was also a Vietnam Army Veteran.

Joseph was a truck driver for most of his life. He most recently was driving for ShopRite, and was still truck driving up until his passing. He was a proud member of the Alcoholics Anonymous and was sober for 33 years. He was also a history buff, and enjoyed talking about historical events, such as his ancestors who fought in the Civil War. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, three daughters, two brothers, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20 AT 10:30 am from MIddlecreek Christian Church in Kresgeville with Rev. Steve Boothe officiating. Cremation took place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Middlecreek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Veteran's organization or to any animal safety organization.
