Obituary for Joseph J. Fiorentino
On Tuesday, March 28th Joseph Fiorentino, 52, of Effort, Pennsylvania passed away after a short battle with cancer surrounded by his children.
Joseph was born on February 23, 1971 to Jenny Mackin and Joseph Fiorentino in Bayshore, NY. Joe is a lifetime member of the North Lindenhurst Fire Department in NY and West End Firehouse in Effort, PA. He was an EMT for several years with West End Ambulance and was employed by Buxton Medical Equipment Corp for 27 years.
Joe enjoyed camping in Canada, traveling to Florida and jet skiing at Beltzville Lake.
Joseph is survived by his loving mother, Jenny Mackin of Effort; wife, Lori Fiorentino of Effort; his three children, son, Brendan Fiorentino & wife Kaitlyn of Tobyhanna; daughters, Ashley Chain & husband Ryan of Effort & Alison Fiorentino of Effort; stepchildren Cheyenne & Brandon Munn of Effort; sister, Josephine Fiorentino; as well as several nieces & nephews. He will be missed greatly by his only grandchild, Owen Fiorentino of Tobyhanna.
Services will be held on Friday, March 31st at William H. Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Dave Felker officiating. Burial will follow in Gilbert Cemetery.
