Obituary for Joseph F. Goblowsky
Joseph F. Goblowsky, 80, of Effort, passed away Monday, January 10 in The Gardens @ Easton.
He was the loving husband of the late Willa D. (Drake) Goblowsky. They celebrated 30 wonderful years of marriage together before her passing in 2017.
Born in Painesville, OH, he was the son of the late Joseph V. Goblowsky and the late Margaret (Horvath) Goblowsky.
Joe was a registered nurse at various hospitals and nursing homes for many years. He was also a US NAVY veteran. He was an avid New York Giants fan. Most of all, he was a loving and caring grandfather, who raised his granddaughter, Jennifer Drake, since she was two years old. He was also a wonderful friend to many, and he will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
A graveside service will be scheduled on a late date at the convenience of the family in Hillside Cemetery, Effort. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
