Obituary for Kathleen T. Monahan (Quinn)

Kathleen T. (Quinn) Monahan, 74, of Saylorsburg, passed away Monday, March 11 in Lehigh Valley Hospital- Pocono Hospice Unit.

Born in New York City, she was the loving daughter of the late Patrick Quinn and the late Mary (Hunt) Quinn.

Kathleen was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

She was an administrative assistant for Hackettstown Regional Medical Center for 18 years. She loved working with stained glass, even designing stained glass work for family and friends, which started a small business that she ran out of her home. She also loved attending concerts, taking care of her flowers and gardening around her yard, but most of all, she loved and adored her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth Monahan and his wife Courtney of Freemansburg; two daughters, Lauren Monahan of Saylorsburg, Nicole Monahan and her husband Chris Parks of Wind Gap; a brother, John Quinn of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Caitlyn, Nicholas, Ryan, Gavin, Quinn, and Aspen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Peter Quinn, Edward Quinn, William Quinn, and a sister, Mary Quinn.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home,1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 PM. Burial of the ashes will be on March 16 at 10:30 AM in Denville Cemetery, NJ. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
