Leon A. Frailey Sr., 90, of Reeders, passed away Sunday, September 26 in St. Luke's Hospital-Monroe Campus.
He was the loving husband of the late Margaret J. (Beatty) Frailey. They spent many wonderful years of marriage together before her passing in 2014.
Born in Reeders, he was the son of the late Arthur J. Frailey and the late Sarah E. (Teada) Frailey.
He was a member of St. Marks Community Lutheran Church in Appenzell.
Leon was the owner and operator of Frailey Well Drilling for 31 years before retiring in 1993. He was a US Marine Corp. veteran of the Korean War. He took part in various veteran organizations, such as the VFW and the American Legion. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
He is survived by a son, Leon A. Frailey Jr. of Reeders; a daughter, Deborah Bow of Freeport, NY; seven grandchildren, Leon, Scott, Priscilla, Margaret, Tony, Anna Maria, Ramon; and ten great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Frailey, and a sister, Glenda Miller.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Reeders Methodist Cemetery.
