Obituary for Margaret M. Kluk (Hoffman)

Margaret M. Kluk, 88, of Gilbert passed away on Thursday, October 28 in her home surrounded by her family.

She was the loving wife of the late Herman Green and the late Joseph Kluk.

Born in Kresgeville, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Emma (Grammes) Hoffman.

Margaret was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Gilbert, the Western Pocono
Women's Club and the American Legion Post 927 Auxiliary in Gilbert. She was also a volunteer with Operation Touch of Home. She loved sewing and quilting, camping, family gatherings with the Hoffmans at the West End Fairgrounds and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She especially loved Christmas.

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Connie Arnold and her husband Vaughn of Effort and Bonnie Drinkwater and her husband Howard of Jonas; two sons, Dean Green and his wife Sharon of Elizabethtown and Rodney Green of Kunkletown and his partner Dana Reichard; four step-sons, Joseph M. Kluk Jr. and his wife Donna of Lehighton, Robert J. Kluk and his wife Joanne of York, Mark G. Kluk and Laura of Bethlehem Township and George J. Kluk and Tina of Bethlehem Township; two brothers Preston Hoffman of Allentown and Harold Hoffman of Kunkletown; two sisters, Helen Serfass of New Castle, DE and Ella Kunkle of Tucson, AZ; fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by siblings, Richard Hoffman, Ernest Hoffman, Clifford Hoffman, Warren Hoffman, Herman Hoffman, Emma Hittner, Stella Scocozza, Josephine Gower, MIriam Gower, Victor Hoffman Jr. and Maria Hoffman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday November 1 from Salem United Church of Christ in Gilbert with Rev. Darlene Blocker officiating. Burial will follow in Gilbert Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville and on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM from the funeral home.
