Obituary for Maria D. Garcia (Gonzalez)
Maria D. (Gonzalez) Garcia, 86, of Nazareth, passed away Monday, August 24 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
She was the loving wife of the late Manuel J. Garcia. They celebrated 62 years of marriage together before his passing in 2016.
Maria was born in Oriente, Cuba, and was of the Catholic faith. She was a sweet and caring homemaker for most of her life. Most of all ,she was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.
She is survived by her son, Manny Garcia of Nazareth, two brothers, and three sisters.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 28 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2158 N. Main Ave., Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
