Obituary for Marie A. Denninger (Napolitano)
Marie A. Denninger, 80, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Sunday, May 21 at St Luke's Hospital- Fountain Hill. She was the loving wife of George Denninger with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.
Born in Queens, NY, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore Napolitano and Stella (Gunzenda) Napolitano.
Marie enjoyed gardening and cutting the grass. She loved animals and watching them in her yard. She enjoyed cooking for her family and taking care of her grandchildren. Marie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
In addition to her husband, George, Marie is survived by her sons: George Denninger of Cornwallville, NY; Joseph Denninger and his wife, Donna of Stroudsburg; and John Denninger and his wife, Michele of Kunkletown; daughter: Ann Marie Plutzer and her husband, Gary of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; her brother: Clemente Napolitano and his wife Cindy of San Diego, CA; ten grandchildren: Dylan, Brandon, Jake, Christopher, Michael, Dalton, Kaitlyn, and Ryan Denninger; and Amanda and Colbey Plutzer. Marie was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25 from 12:00-2:00 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Rt 209, Brodheadsville. A memorial service will follow at 2:00PM with Rev. Robert Simon officiating.
