She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Stroudsburg. She bowled in the Skylanes Bowling League in East Stroudsburg for many years and she was a member and past president of the Junior Woman's Club in Stroudsburg. Marilyn had a green thumb and loved plants but the love of her life was her yellow lab, Brandy.

Marilyn is survived by three children, Richard Litts of Nesquehoning, Cheryl Hahn and her husband Keith of Kunkletown and James Litts and his wife Lisa of Effort; a sister, Phyllis Douglass of Stroudsburg; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
