Obituary for Patricia Jo Buskirk (Stansberry)
Patricia Jo (Stansberry) Buskirk, 76, of Effort, passed away Sunday, August 18 in Brookmont Healthcare Center, Effort.
Born in Grafton, WV, she was the loving daughter of the late Mr. Stansberry and the late Minnie (McMasters) Frey.
Patricia graduated for Bangor Area High School. She was a former member of the Mount Eaton Church in Saylorsburg.
Patricia was a presser in the garment industry for over thirty years. She first started working for Rod Yetters in Stroudsburg, and later went on to work for Valerie Fashions in Wind Gap. She finished her career at Majestic in Bangor.
She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Todd Buskirk of Stroudsburg, Timothy Buskirk and his wife Christina of Effort; a sister, Betty East of Bangor; and her ex-husband, Richard Buskirk of Stroudsburg.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
