Obituary

Patricia V. Wagner

Patricia who was 81 years young passed away at her home suddenly from heart complications on Thursday, April 16, 2020. She was Born in Burton, West Virginia. She is survived by her husband of 32 years of marriage, Dennis Wagner, her 4 children and spouses, 3 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter:
Jeffrey Pluta (Brian and Faith Ann {Loralei}) Commerce Township, MI, Donna Slover (John {Patrick Slover}) Morrisville, PA, Karen Pluta, Jacksonville, FL and Michael Pluta (Ashlee Zelinsky) Fairless Hills, PA.
Her brother and sisters and spouses, Dewey (Junior) Hixenbaugh, Shelocta, PA; Shirley Burzachiello (Jim), Newtown, PA; Jean Coleman, Pinch, WV; Betty Higley (Milt), Homer City, PA; Helen Schmutz, Salem, OH; Linda Myers (Ansel), Orwell, OH; Susan {Susie} DeBolt, Hundred, WV; and Ronnie (Ruth) Hixenbaugh, Minerva, OH as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. Pat is predeceased by her sister, Rose (Rosie) Butler, Burnsville, NC; her brother, Bobby Hixenbaugh, Hundred, WV; and her mom, Mildred {Midge} (Hixenbaugh) Sanney, Hundred WV. She loved and touched all of our lives very deeply!

She enjoyed raising her children, grandchildren and furgrandbabies, cooking, baking, making crafts, making organic soaps, spending time with her kitties, sewing, going to the casino, making wreaths for the holidays, quilting, shopping, searching for things on the computer and flower gardening (Hydrangea's were her favorite).

She is remembered by her family as having the biggest heart and generosity matched by none. She loved family time and talking on the phone for hours with her children, grandchildren, sisters and brother and other family members and friends. She loved nature and all animals. She never missed a day without watching the evening news! She felt it was important to know what was going on in the world and staying up to date with current world events. She was often sought out for her opinions and life decisions by friends and family members. She often talked about when she was growing up, spending time at her grandparent's farm running the hills, climbing trees and helping with the farm animals and daily chores in West Virginia. She enjoyed her country music with Alan Jackson being one of her favorites musicians. She lived a full life with laughter and enjoying the moments along the way. Our "Rock" and Matriarch we salute you!

Although we are very saddened by the news of her passing, we take great comfort in that she did not suffer through a long illness. She always said she wanted to go quick and she did!

We love you with all our hearts and know you are at peace now with your sister Rosie, your brother, Bobby, your mom and your grandparents!
