Obituary

Patrick Joseph "PJ" Boyle Jr., 56, of Mt. Pocono, passed away Friday, September 13 in his home.

He was the loving husband of Velma Joy (Shepherd) Boyle. They were married on March 6th of this year.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of Marilyn (Ryan) Boyle of Jackson, NJ, and the late Patrick Joseph "Buddy" Boyle Sr.

PJ was the owner/operator of Rock Hard Masonry for many years. Later on in his life he started working for Mountain Taxi for several years. He then went on to start his own delivery business called PJ Deliveries, which later became Black & White Deliveries.

PJ was known as a true people person. He had a natural way of interacting with others. He knew everyone and always took the time to talk with them. He loved greeting others when he saw them, and he became known for always greeting others with a "meow". He loved life, and he had a great sense of humor. Other than his nickname PJ, he was referred by others as "rude dog" and/or "meow". He will be deeply missed by all his friends, family, and his beloved dogs, Cooper, LJ, and Buddy.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Carmen Santiago of Hughesville; a stepson, Carlos Santiago of Williamsport; three brothers, Jimmy Boyle (his favorite brother) and lover Jackie Mazzella of Albrightsville, Danny Boyle and his wife Jessica, John Boyle of Gainesville, VA; two sisters, Peggie Platzer of Jim Thorpe, Mar-Pat Plante and her husband Peter of Sterling, VA; nine nieces and nephews, Tara, Alex, Stevi, Shannon, Conal, Anthony, Jake, Tanner, Rowan; several cousins, aunts, uncles: and two great nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, James.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 1:00 PM from the Holiday Pocono Civic Association, 62 Holiday Drive, Albrightsville, PA 18210. A celebration of life service will follow at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in PJ's memory to the Kresge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 25, Brodheadsville, PA 18322.

Kresge Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

PJ will forever be in our hearts because he always had a big heart in his own way and whenever he needed me know matter what I was there and I will miss him just popping up at my place calling saying look outside come out let's go for a ride and showing me things as I showed him I will miss how he made me and my kids laugh. He always check in on me as I did him and ask about the kids and how I was doing. I remember sometimes he would ask me to drive so he can get to the doctor and have his.laser surgery and we would always laugh but PJ loved his eyes and that was important him because he loved his job he loved being around people. PJ was gentle and he always respect women he would always become defensive about women because of coming from a big family knowing how men could be sometime, he didn't tolerate a lot and from the stories he told me I knew I was always safe with him know matter what because we had each other back even if we didn't speak he always knew he can count on me. I miss him so much, there is no one like PJ he was and always be original in his own way, he always told me if anything happened he didn't want me to cry only celebrate and I'm going to celebrate with his memories.πŸ’™ memories for lifeπŸ’™πŸ’™I know you are in Good Hands😻 can't stand you πŸ’™I love you πŸ’™ enough about me πŸ’™πŸ˜ŽπŸˆπŸˆπŸˆπŸΉπŸΉπŸ•ŠοΈπŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’™

PJ was and will always be my good friend, my buddy, my brother, I have known him for many years and I share so many memories of him, it's a blessing because they are all good memories. PJ was a good man, he loved so much he loved telling the stories about his younger days growing up being wild and bull headed, stubborn as well lol! That was just him, you take they way he is or you leave him alone. He was a real talker love talking to people, he loved his job, most of all he loved the people and boy can he have a conversation lol! He really loved talking to people most of all he loved hearing hiself, lol! That was our jokes and no matter if we argued right or wrong he always knew how to be humble. I'm going to miss most of all taking rides with him, he loved to just ride around sometimes, looking at different scenery. PJ always had a way about hiself and even when we would argue sometimes it would get so heated he it would become funny, so after a while I said you know what, I'm not arguing with you no more, lol! He keeps going lol! I know how to get him, "I would say be quiet" he would say don't say that to me, I knew how to do "then I would say shut up" lol! He would get fired up, I would laugh then say GOD BLESS YOU! He loved GOD, so that's what would shut him down then all the way back no matter where we would be coming from it would be silent, at the end the day when he was wrong he was humble, we where both that way that's why we got along, and he knew we both had tempers, he loved it he would always laugh. PJ loved his family very much and I was fortunate to meet some of them too. Beautiful family, the thing about PJ no matter what never messed with his family or his love one, he was always crazy about cooper and even though he wasn't able to keep cooper he made sure any chance he had to visit cooper he would. PJ would always talk about how much he loved cooper as well, I really miss PJ and he will always be forever in my heart, my kids love PJ like a Uncle and he was always good with my kids, I spoke to PJ couple a days before, I always check on him sometimes he could be a baby lol! That's PJ. I know that PJ is at peace, he always told me what he wanted and *GOD GAVE HIM FAVOR AND GAVE HIM EVERYTHING HE ASK FOR, GOD GOD GAVE HIM" some of the things he wanted in the end he gave him the peace, happiness and joy. PJ Gwenette and the kids WE MISS YOU and We Will always keep the memories alive. I know you are in good hands my buddy the Magic πŸ’™πŸ’™As he would say " can't stand you πŸ’™ I love youπŸ’™ enough about meπŸ’™ πŸ’™Memories For LifeπŸ’™ HAPPY BIRTHDAY πŸŽ‚πŸ’™ My BUDDY πŸ’™ My PALπŸ’™My Friend πŸ’™MY Brother. AMEN! GOD iS WITH YOU πŸ’™ MEMORIES πŸ’™ FORπŸ’™ LIFE πŸ’™
