Obituary for Paul M. Argot

Paul M. Argot, 94, of Pocono Lake, passed away on Thursday, November 11 in Spring Village @ Pocono in East Stroudsburg.

He was the husband of Betty (Campbell) Argot. They had observed their 72nd wedding anniversary in May.

Born in Pocono Lake, he was a son of the late John and Olive (Keiper) Argot.

Paul was the supervisor at the Pocono Lake Preserve for forty six years, retiring in 1993, but his life was serving anyone that needed help.

He was a WW II veteran and he attended the Pocono Lake Wesleyan Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Linda Mellow and her husband John of Pocono Lake and Nancy Boileau and her husband Tom of Middlebury, CT; a son, Ronnie Argot and his wife Sherrie of North Rome; a brother, Homer Argot and his wife Gloria of Pocono Lake; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 15 from the Pocono Lake Wesleyan Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery, Pocono Lake. A viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service in the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pocono Lake Wesleyan Church, 203 Spur Road, Pocono Lake, PA 18347.

The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
