Obituary for Peggy Ann Hitchens

In loving memory of Peggy Ann Hitchens, who entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2021.

Peggy Hitchens of Blakeslee, was born on November 26, 1947 to her parents, Lawrence Hitchens Sr. and Beulah Bolden.

She attended Bridgeton public schools before later earning an associates of science degree from Cumberland County College. Peggy continued her education earning a bachelors of science degree in social services from Stockton State University.

Peggy was preceded by: a daughter, Stephanie Hubert, brother, Lawrence Hitchens Jr., two sisters, Helen Rawls and Adaline Rawls, and a grandson, Datrel Hubert.

Leaving to mourn her is a sister, Stella Mae Cochran of Bridgeton, NJ; daughters, Tammy Lyn Hitchens of Blakeslee, and April Michelle Duvall of Ruskin, FL; grandchildren, Janisa, Lawrence, Michael, Vermeer, Vimar, and Charles Anthony; as well as a host of other family and loved ones by whom she will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 1 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM from the Evangelistic Gospel World Mission Church, 270 Banks Street, Bridgeton, NJ. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 457 Greenwich Road, Bridgeton, NJ.
