Obituary for Phyllis A. Loer
Phyllis A. Loer, 84, of Effort, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Brookmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Gerrish) Loer.
Phyllis had a very successful career as a registered nurse and worked as the Director of Nursing at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth for many years. Phyllis adored her parents and devotedly cared for them. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling with her sister, Audrey, visiting new places around the world, particularly the West Indies. Phyllis loved the West End and enjoyed living in Saylorsburg most of her life. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
Phyllis is survived by her niece: Caroline Milavec of New Mexico; her nephew: Eric Marquard of New Jersey; her great nieces and nephews: Noreen Kramme, Evan Sahy and Nina Marquard. She will be missed also by a vast clan of family in Potsdam, New York.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Audrey Marquard.
