Obituary for Ramon L. Picado
Ramón Picado, 82, of Brodheadsville, PA, passed away on April 22, surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife, Angela, his children Aurea Yadith, Ana Patricia, Mayrenne, Ramón Leonardo (Janet M. Lech-Picado ), Eunice (Scott Lempp), and Jorge (Mary Grace Gilbo), grandchildren, Meribeth, Irene, Gabriela, Paola, Richard, Brian, Claire, Gabriel, and Sofía, his sister Eraida, brothers Carlos, Franklin, Jorge, Danilo, Alfonso, Alcides and Olger and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his oldest daughter Aurea María and his parents Leonardo Picado Jiménez and Áurea Porras Gomez.
We learned from him resilience, strength, and perseverance. A great protector and a loving father, he took pride in being content with a simplistic life and practicing intended minimalism. His wisdom in finances and cocreating dreams had no match. He was truly an authentic person with a golden heart who made an impact on many lives and his legacy will live on and will be deeply missed and remembered.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 28, at 11:00 AM from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Gilbert. A celebration of life will take place on a later date at the convenience of the family.
