Obituary for Raymond E. Becker
Raymond E. Becker 70, of Effort, passed away on Saturday, January 30 in his home.
He was the husband of Ruth M. (Baumgart) Becker. They had celebrated 50 years of marriage in April.
Born in Englewood, NJ, he was a son of the late Raymond E. Becker and the late Genevieve (Heyn) Becker.
Raymond had worked as an operating engineer for New York Life in Lebanon, NJ for forty two years before retiring in 2016. He was a US Navy veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Rachel Becker of Bartonsville, Jessica Erhardt of Rigby, ID and Christine Payne of Radcliff, KY; two sons, Adam Becker of Albrightsville and Brenden Becker of Stroudsburg; six brothers and sisters; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6 at 11:00 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. David Felker officiating. Burial will follow in Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery in Trachsville. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
