Obituary for Reginald F. Moody
Reginald F. Moody, 56, of Pocono Summit, passed away on Wednesday, February 3 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono.
He was the husband of Joyce (McLaurin) Moody. They had celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary in August.
Born in Paterson, NJ he was a son of the late Percey L. and Naomi "Ruth" (Howell) Moody.
He had worked as a grocery clerk for Path Mark in NJ for over 35 years before retiring in 2014.
Reginald was an avid bowler and pool player. He enjoyed movies and going to the casino where he played 3 card poker but he really loved and enjoyed his four grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Shaena Moody of Bowie, MD; a son, Reginald Moody II of Harrisburg; a brother, Rashaad Moody of Newark, NJ; a sister, Lisa Howell-Banks of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren, Sienna Moody, Reginald Moody III, Alex Elijah Sanchez Jr. and Lyric Julianna Moody and a god-daughter, Jasmine McLaurin. IN addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Julian Moody.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, February 11 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. Cremation will follow in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
