Obituary for Richard C. Bizousky

Richard C. Bizousky, 84, of Effort, passed away on Thursday, March 18 at home.

He was the loving husband of Jeanne (Alspaugh) Bizousky. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in July.

Born at home in Effort, he was the son of the late Michael Bizousky and the late Ellen (Gower) Bizousky.

Richard was a machinist for Bethlehem Steel for thirty years. He was a member of the Middlecreek Christian Church in Kresgeville. He was also a US Air Force Veteran. Most of all, he was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richard C. Bizousky II and his wife Charlotte of Effort, Brent Bizousky and his companion Robin of Kunkletown; two daughters, Debra LaBar and her husband Charles of Effort, Maija Frable and her husband Troy of Brodheadsville; two sisters, Jeannette Sotak and her husband Butch of Nesquehoning, Patricia Jarrell of Effort; fourteen grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Fredrick Bizousky.
