Obituary for Richard L. Held
Richard L. Held, 65, of Saylorsburg, passed away Thursday, September 1, in St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus.
He was the loving fiancé of Cynthia L. Arthur. They celebrated thirty wonderful years together.
Born in Nazareth, he was the son of Beverly (VanWhy) and the late Leo Held.
Richard was a woodworker, carpenter, and farmer throughout his life. He also enjoyed gardening, and was a hard worker and good friend to many people.
In addition to his fiancé, Cynthia, and his mother, Beverly, he is survived by two brothers, Russel and David Held; and a nephew, Thomas Held.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 12, at 12:30 PM from Sky-View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville is in charge of the arrangements.
