Obituary for Rodger Allen Miller

Rodger Allen Miller, 61, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Monday, August 5, in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem.

He was the loving husband of Karen (Figurelli) Miller. They celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in June.

Born in Stroudsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Russell Miller and the late Betty (Lee) Riccio.

Rodger was a welder, fabricator, and mechanic for most of his life. However, his true passion since high school was welding. He was a top-notch welder and well respected in his profession. He enjoyed the outdoors, and he loved food, the more on the plate the better. He had a passion to always make people laugh, and he had a massive love for his Harley. He was a US Army Veteran. Most of all ,he was very much a family man, as he was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and brother. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joshua March and his wife Marijo of Wind Gap; two daughters, Trista Corwin and her husband Thomas of Easton, Jill Kozic and her husband Wes of Stroudsburg; two brothers, James Miller of Long Pond, Robert Miller; three sisters, Bonnie Brown of Bangor, Jane Dietrich and her husband John of Bangor, Margie Coughlin and her husband Nole; two grandchildren, Aliza and Avery Corwin. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Luigi Riccio.

A viewing will be held on Friday, Aug 9 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
