Obituary for Rosalie Moroney (Waders)
Rosalie Moroney passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 21, at the age of 91.
She was the loving wife of the late Thomas Robert Moroney.
Born in Astoria, Queens, NY, in 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Waders and the late Katherine (Galmo) Waders.
She resided the last 28 years in Saylorsburg, PA. She was known for her feisty, humorous personality and artistic abilities. She was an animal lover, and a collector of eclectic treasures. Most of all, she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.
She is survived by her three children: Suzanne Tinghino, John Moroney, and Jill Shedlock. She was a beloved grandmother to six, and great grandmother to seven.
Rosalie’s life will be celebrated privately on a later date with her family and friends.
