Obituary for Susan McPherson (Murphy)
Susan McPherson, 60, of Bushkill, passed away Sunday, June 27 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest.
She was the loving wife of Michael C. McPherson Jr. They celebrated 31 years of marriage together.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose Murphy.
Susan was a US Navy Veteran. She was very loved by her family. She was a sweet and kind woman who always took care of others. Susan had a wonderfully dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She led an interesting life, traveling the world with the Navy, and visiting her favorite country of Wales. She loved the outdoors, and for the past few years she was most excited to be a grandmother. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Autumn Fazekas and her husband John of Saylorsburg, Dylan McPherson and his partner Brianna of East Orange, NJ, Wren McPherson of Bushkill; three brothers, James Murphy of Bayonne, NJ, Michael Murphy of New York City, Daniel Murphy of Bayonne, NJ; and three grandchildren, Fiona Fazekas, Rowan Fazekas, and Milo McPherson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Maryann Feinstein.
Memorial services will be private on a later date at the convenience of the family.
