Obituary for Susan Ann Miller (Warner)
Susan Ann Miller, 90, of McMichaels, passed away Sunday, October 13 in her home.
She was the loving wife of the late Sterling B. Miller. They celebrated 30 years of marriage together before his passing in 1987.
Born in Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late William Warner and the late Emma (Miller) Warner.
She graduated from Stroudsburg High School in 1947. Throughout most of her life she helped work on her husband's farm. She was a former choir director and member at St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church in Appenzell. She also was an organist and attended McMichaels United Methodist Church. Susan will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.
She is survived by three sons, William Miller and Stephen Miller, both of McMichaels, Jonathan Miller and his wife Patricia of Jarvis, Ontario; a sister, Jean Miller and her husband Bruce of Stroudsburg; and two grandchildren, Hannah and Olivia Miller.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 17 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Edward Unangst officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Appenzell.
