Obituary for Utilda Alphonse (St. Ville)
Utilda Alphonse, 60, of Albrightsville, passed away on Saturday, June 25 in her home.
She was the loving wife of James Alphonse. They had celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary in December.
Born in Castries, Saint Lucia, W.I. she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Euranise (Richard) St. Ville.
Utilda had worked as a school bus aide for First Student in the Pleasant Valley School District.
She was a member of Waymark Ministries in Brooklyn, NY.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jameson Alphonse of Albrightsville and Yaschee James Alphonse of the Bronx, NY. a daughter, Merle Charles in Saint Lucia; three brothers, Simeon, Nathanial and Kembert St. Ville; two sisters, Agnes James and Esther Auguste and two grandchildren, Joel Charles and Hayden Yafeh Alphonse.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 10 from Waymark Ministries in Brooklyn with Pastor Kerol Daniel officiating. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in the church. Burial will be on Monday, July 11 in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.
