Girard Kelly, 55, of Tobyhanna died Wednesday, December 3 in the Hackensack University Medical Center.

He was the husband of Debra (Bruno) Kelly. They had observed their 36th wedding anniversary in February.

Born in Brooklyn, he was a son of Catherine (Grimm) Kelly in Arizona.

He had been a bus driver in the Pocono Mountain School District for nineteen years.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Gerard Kelly and his wife Jayanna Dingle-Kelly of Tannersville and Richard J. Kelly of Tobyhanna: a daughter, Tara T. Kelly of Tobyhanna; three sisters, Colleen Kelly-Panero of Brooklyn, NY, Peggy in AZ and Donna Sedita in AZ; a brother, James Madden in AZ and two granddaughters, Teanna E. Kelly and Athena M. Kelly.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
