Arlene L. (Mackes) Schaffer, 94, of Skaneateles Falls, NY died April 10, 2015.

She was the wife of the late Roland A. Schaffer.

Born in Kunkletown, she was a daughter of the late Simon P. and Elsie M. (Christman) Mackes.

She has lived in Skaneateles Falls since 1947. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 317 in Skaneateles Falls.

Surviving are daughters, Nadine Warner of Skaneateles Falls and Gail (Thomas) Lowery of Fairport, NY; grandsons, David (Claudia Medrano) Warner, Michael (Chastity) Warner; granddaughters, Sarah (Craig) Coene and Misha (Thomas J.) Rank; great grandchildren, Ajahne, Cash, Cruz and Callyn Warner, Kayla Guerra and Breanna and Caitlyn Coene and sisters, Lorraine Everett and Helen Mackes. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Allen, Robert, Leon and Maurice Mackes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 20 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Suzanne Brooks-Cope officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Kunkletown.
