Robert Joseph Pipech Jr., 55, of Gilbert died Sunday, November 1 in his home.

He was the husband of Jane (Kmeicik) Pipech. They had observed their 33rd wedding anniversary in June.

Born in Wilkes Barre, he was a son of Robert Jospeh Pipech Sr. and Joan (Hashagen) Pipech of Mountain Top.

He was a financial advisor with Household Finance Corporation in Budd Lake, NJ for twenty seven years.

Bob was a member of the Kunkletown Rod & Gun Club and the White Ash Land Assn. He coached both Little League and soccer in the West End. He was a caring father and loving husband.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Robert Joseph Pipech III of Effort; a daughter, Loriann Vargo of Minersville; a brother, Brian Pipech of Wilkes Barre and two grandchildren, Jessica and Jaiden Vargo.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 6 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. Cremation will follow in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Inn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family c/o Robert J. Pipech III, 1016 Lakeside Drive, Effort, PA 18330 in order to set up an educational fund for Jessica and Jaiden.
