Catherine R. Capozzi, 71, of Blakeslee and formerly of Gilbert and Belleville, NJ, died Wednesday, December 23 in the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.

She was the wife of the late Louis Frank Capozzi Jr. who passed away in 2012.

Born in Newark, NJ she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Filomena (Sperdudo) Olivo.

She had worked in the housekeeping department at Pleasant Valley Manor in Snydersville for twenty seven years, retiring in 2011.

She is survived by two sons, Louis F. Capozzi III and Ben Capozzi, both of Blakeslee.

Memorial services will be held at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Sherrie L. Sneed officiating. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
