Lana L. Schroder, 49, of Saylorsburg, died Tuesday, November 29 in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.

She was the wife of Timothy Schroder. They had observed their 23rd wedding anniversary in February.

Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of John Elmer Costenbader of Kunkletown and the late Kiyoko (Cato) Costenbader.

She was of the Christian Baptist faith.

Lana was an avid animal lover and she loved helping people out as much as she was able.

IN addition to her husband and father, she is survived by three daughters, Amber, Sarah, and Crystal Schroder, all at home; a sister, Sharon Jones of Palmerton; two brothers, John Costenbader of Kunkletown and Daryl Costenbader of Palmerton and her father-in-law, Joseph Gordon.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Dec. 3 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Paul Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in Gilbert Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Go Fund Me account that has been set-up to defray medical expenses and funeral costs.
