Charlene Ann Wagner, 60, of Reeders died Thursday, July 2 in her home.

She was the wife of Carl J. Wagner. They would have observed their 29th wedding anniversary in November.

Born in Wilkes Barre, she was a daughter of the late Charles Floyd Cole Sr. and the late Jean (Hughes) Cole.

She was employed as a garment worker in the Wind Gap/Pen Argyl area for twenty years before retiring.

Charlene enjoyed gardening and especially loved taking care of her grandchildren. They all referred to her as Oma.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert Charles Thomas of Pittsburgh and Brian Scott Thomas of Reeders; two sisters, Ellen Wisniewski of Scranton and Kathleen Hontz of Forty Fort; two brothers, Charles Cole Jr. of Ashley and John Seiwell of Avoca; three grandchildren, Aerawyn Autumn Thomas, Emerson Elias Thomas and Kellen Chase Thomas and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Jimmy, George, Robert, LeRoy and Billy Seiwell.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 5 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. David Felker officiating. Cremation will follow in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
