Charles W. Schouppe, 81, of East Stroudsburg, died Friday, December 25 in the Praxis Alzheimer's Facility, Easton.
He was the husband of Geraldine (Miller) Schouppe. They had observed their 37th wedding anniversary in May.
Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Gower) Schouppe.
Charlie had worked as a welder for Paterson-Kelly in East Stroudsburg for thirty seven years, retiring in 1996.
He was a US Army veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Pamela Wisegarver of Analomink; a son, Brian Schouppe of Tobyhanna; two step-sons, Donald Hennings of Reeders and Daniel Hennings of East Stroudsburg; a step-daughter, Terry Hennings of Quakertown; eight brothers and sisters, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Schouppe.
No services are planned at this time. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Sand Hill Cemetery.
