Daniel A. Van Buskirk, 60, of Brodheadsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 1 in Pleasant Valley Manor, Snydersville.

Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Clayton Milton and Carmella (Capone) Van Buskirk.

Daniel was a supervisor for Van Why Construction in Marshalls Creek for twenty five years before retiring in 2004.

He loved to fish and to mow his lawn.

He is survived by a sister, Lisa Mazur of Brodheadsville; three brothers, Joseph Van Buskirk of Rochester, PA, David Van Buskirk of Kunkletown and Jason Van Buskirk of Kunkletown and his life-long friend, Penny Vince who was with him till the end.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 7 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Brian Nichols officiating. Private interment will be in Mt. Eaton Cemetery in Saylorsburg. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
