Obituary for Judy A. Zehner (George)
Judy A. Zehner, 66, of Palmerton, passed away Sunday, September 2 in Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth.
She was the loving wife of Randy J Zehner. They celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary in August.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Clark George and the late Violet (Haydt) George.
Judy was a seamstress for Scotty's Fashions for many years. She also used to work at Smiley's General Store in Kunkletown.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, James C. Smiley of Palmerton, Michael J. Smiley of Kunkletown, Chris A. Zehner of Walnutport, Chad A. Zehner and companion Clarissa of Palmerton; a daughter, Rebecca A. Smiley and companion Jay Schoch of Palmerton; a brother, Tim George and wife Tracey of Kunkletown; a sister, Susan (George) Novembre and companion Paul of Slatington; and 10 grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Randy George.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 6 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. David Felker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kresge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 25 Brodheadsville, PA 18322.
