Margaret Pauline Brink, 91, of Nazareth, passed away Wednesday, August 30 in Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth.

She was the loving husband of the late Walter Brink.

Born in County Mayo, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick O'Dea and the late Jane (Fair) O'Dea.

Early in her career she taught in England and Ireland for six years. Later on she was a former executive secretary for the President of 21 Brand and also Valentine Books, both in New York City. Locally, she was the former executive secretary for the President of the International Boiler Works in East Stroudsburg back in the 1950's. She also taught piano lessons for many years. She was a very caring and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia DeFranco of Stroudsburg, Theresa Flynn of Hope, NJ; a sister, Phyllis Izzo of Mesa, AZ; five grandchildren, Theresa Halley and husband Jason, Stephen Flynn, Frances Karchner and husband Jonathan, Emily Pople and husband Elliot, Daniel Flynn; and three great grandchildren, Sebastian Halley, Elleigh Flynn, Ezra Walter. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James O'Dea, Patrick O'Dea, Thomas O'Dea, and a sister, Kathleen Staunton.

A viewing will be held on Monday, September 3 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 4 at 10:00 AM in St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Stroudsburg with Rev. Carmen Perry as celebrant. Burial will follow in Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pauline Brink Memorial Scholarship Fund Notre Dame JR/SR High School, 60 Spangenburg Avenue, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
