Obituary for William F. Green III
William F. Green III, 65, of Effort died on Friday, February 12.
Born in Effort, he was a son of the late William F. Green Jr. and the late Anna (Ace) Green.
A graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, Bill had worked for Shiffer Bituminous in Dotters Corner for many years, retiring in 1999.
He was a car enthusiast. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Effort.
Bill is survived by a daughter, Victoria Weaver of Effort; a son, William F. Green IV of Saylorsburg; a sister, Alice Albert of Effort; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation will take place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
